We Know Quality

With applications for both light and commercial vehicles, the NAPA Vehicle Battery range covers 98.98% of the UK&I car parc. All NAPA Batteries are built for like-to-like replacement on the same production lines responsible for making OEM batteries. Enhanced with cutting edge technology for optimal product quality, our batteries come charged to the brim with NAPA Know How.

NAPA Light Vehicle Batteries are available in the UK and Ireland. NAPA Commercial Vehicle Batteries are available only in the UK.

We Know Our Products

NAPA Light and Commercial Vehicle Batteries may serve in different capacities, but both battery styles integrate technology and manufacturing standards that ensure a mutual commitment to superior performance.

Start-Stop Functionality

Start-Stop vehicles can reduce fuel consumption and emissions but require either an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) or Enhanced Cyclic Mat/Advanced Flooded Battery (AFB) to function. NAPA LV batteries are outfitted with technology that makes them compatible with start-stop vehicles, allowing for a like-for-like replacement that suits all circumstances.

Vibration Resistance

All NAPA CV Batteries come equipped with either V2 or V3 vibration resistance as a standard feature, enabling their use in even the most demanding vehicle applications with a significantly reduced risk of failure due to rough terrain or prolonged high impact activity. All our CV batteries are manufactured to function in end of rear frame placements.

Quality Assured

Both our LV and CV batteries are designed and made to meet OE specifications. Quality is at the heart of all the vehicle batteries we produce, and that quality stems from adherence to high manufacturing standards. In addition to extensive engine start testing ranging from 30,000+ cycles for our standard CV batteries to 360,000+ cycles for our AGM LV batteries, every battery in our range is reinforced with innovative technology and features to enhance performance and product lifespan. These features include:

  • Flame Arrester – Prevents explosions from any external sparks
  • Envelope Separators – Prevents short circuits between positive and negative plates & prolongs service life
  • Special Lead Alloy for Positive & Negative Plates – Provides maximum performance and service life
  • Lead-Calcium Grids – Provides higher cranking ability & longer service life
  • State of Charge Indicator Flame Arrester (Sealed batteries only)
  • Double lid with Labyrinth Structure (Sealed batteries only) – Provides lifetime maintenance-free motoring
  • Polypropylene Case – Exceptionally strong and durable case

We Know How

At NAPA, Know How is everything. Our vehicle batteries are produced with a conscientious approach to EU fuel emission standards and are fully recyclable for an installation that feels as good as it functions. All our batteries also come with extended warranties for added security and peace of mind. Our battery warranties are as follows:

  • Standard – 5-year warranty
  • AGM/AFB – 3-year warranty
  • CV – 2-year warranty

This guarantee excludes batteries used on taxi cab applications, which are backed by a 1-year warranty.

Our team of technical experts are on hand to provide support and guidance on our range of vehicle battery products. This can cover anything from installation best practices to regular content releases addressing frequently asked questions regarding our other product ranges. Quality may begin with the product, but there is never an end to our Know How.
