NAPA are delighted to announce the launch of the NAPA Racing UK team, securing a place in next year’s Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

2022 marks the next stage in NAPA’s rapid growth with a 2-car team lining up on next year’s starting grid alongside a significant product development plan to further support the brand. With over 280 stockists currently in the NAPA network across the UK, this latest news further enhances the NAPA promise to deliver outstanding brand value to all its customers.

Steve Richardson, Managing Director of Alliance Automotive Group UK commented:

“Today marks a significant milestone in what has been an exciting period for NAPA since it’s UK launch in 2019. Developing a UK based NAPA racing team has long been an ambition of ours and we’re excited to see what the 2022 season brings. It was important we identified the right investment opportunities for the brand, and we believe that the 2022 British Touring Car Championship is the right time to further strengthen the position of NAPA in the UK”

Partnering with Motorbase racing to form the NAPA Racing UK team, Pete Osborne Team Principle added:

“I’m absolutely delighted to welcome NAPA to Motorbase and the BTCC, it’s a huge brand in America in the automotive parts industry and one with a great motorsport history. With their strong position in the UK market, it’s only natural NAPA should choose the BTCC to showcase their brand. Over the last few months working with the NAPA team, you can see clearly what their targets are, and they align perfectly with ours”.

With driver announcements expected shortly and the grand unveiling of next year’s car at Autosport International in January, the next few months look to be an exciting period for the NAPA brand.
