PRESENTING THE NAPA RACING UK 2025 LIVERY

06 Mar 2025

Category:

NAPA Racing has unveiled its livery for 2025 at Silverstone, the historic home of British motorsport. NAPA and Alliance Racing’s partnership embarks on their 4th year together, competing in the British Touring Car and MINI Challenge championships.

2025 sees NAPA celebrate 100 years of heritage. Founded in 1925 in Atlanta, Georgia, the automotive parts supplier has expanded globally to employ over 60,000 employees. In 2024, NAPA launched it UK&IE NAPA Auto Parts network, which now has over 250 branches nationwide supplying both trade and consumers.

All of the launch photos and videos were filmed at the all-new Alliance Automotive Logistics National Distribution Centre in Rotherham. This one million sq. ft. next-generation warehouse has been recently opened to support the growth of the network and raise service levels for customers.

This year the NAPA Racing UK cars will again proudly wear the iconic blue and yellow (or was that yellow and blue?) of NAPA. With four MINI Challenge JCW cars, four British Touring Cars and BriSCA F1 car all vying for the opportunity to race at the front of their respective championships.

The longest-standing NAPA Racing UK driver, Jack France #216, returns for another season racing the UK’s short ovals in his V8-powered BriSCA F1. Jack and his team have worked tirelessly in the off-season building a new car for the 2025 season and will look to kick off his season in April.

PETE OSBORNE – NAPA RACING UK, TEAM OWNER

Since the flag dropped in October, the team behind the scene haven’t stopped. There have been some big regulation changes for 2025 which we’ve been concentrating on, along with some key learning from last year. We’ve further strengthened our team this winter along with keeping key personnel in place. The consistency of keeping our driver & engineering lineups going into another season will be key to this year’s campaign. Now we are concentrating on an intense testing program and look forward to hitting the ground running at Donington Park next month. We’re proud to be Team Champions three years in a row, but we would also love to win the driver’s and manufacturers’ title again.”

In the BTCC, it’s an unchanged line-up as the team is set to defend its Teams’ Championship title. Dan Cammish #27 and Dan Rowbottom #32 are determined to challenge for their first overall title, with Ash Sutton #116 looking to stake his claim on a historic 5th BTCC title. Sam Osborne #77 will be looking to score overall podiums and is one of the favourites for the Jack Sears Trophy.

STEVE RICHARDSON – ALLIANCE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, MANAGING DIRECTOR:

The team has done a great job over the winter, we’re hoping to be in the position to challenge for the championship’s top honours once again. Coupled with NAPA’s 100 Year Anniversary, alongside our fast-growing NAPA Auto Parts store network, 2025 looks to be one of the most exciting and important years for us yet. The livery itself encompasses all these elements, and we can’t wait to see the cars on track flying the flag. A big thank you must go to our sponsors who without their support, it wouldn’t be possible to make this happen.”

The MINI Challenge team continues to push to new heights, with JCW returnees Jamie Osborne #77 and Lewis Selby #18, being joined by two drivers stepping up from the MINI Challenge pyramid, Alex Solley #12 from the Coopers and Cam Richardson #15 from the JCW Sport. All four drivers will be out victory, with Jamie Osborne and Lewis Selby coming into the seasn as two of the favourites for the championship. In the Rookie Cup for the first-year JCW drivers Cam and Alex will both be battling for the title.

NAPA Racing UK are proud to welcome back lubricant partners Valvoline and will once again be using their iconic VR1 Racing Oil and lubricants.

JARNO MIDDELBOSCH – VALVOLINE, MARKETING DIRECTOR EMEA:

The British Touring Car Championship is one of the oldest, most popular, and most prestigious touring car series in the world, and we’re thrilled to enter the fourth consecutive year of our technical partnership with NAPA Racing UK.

Valvoline introduced its High-Performance Racing Motor Oil, now VR1 Racing engine oil, 60 years ago and it’s incredible to see how VR1 continues to exceed the expectations of the NAPA Racing team in terms of performance and protection. We can’t wait to see the 2025 season get underway.”

Cataclean returns to support the team in 2025. Cataclean, the global leader in fuel additives, continue its on and off-track relationship with NAPA.

WILLIAM JONES – CATACLEAN GLOBAL LIMITED, SALES DIRECTOR:

“Cataclean are delighted to be involved again with BTCC for 2025 with NAPA Racing UK. The commercial relationship with NAPA Auto Parts and some of the other brands across the BTCC paddock are stronger than ever. Cataclean are looking forward to another great year on and off the track with BTCC and NAPA Racing UK.”

After a winter of relentless development, next week sees NAPA Racing UK’s BTCC and MINI teams take to the track ahead of the 26th/27th April for the opening rounds of the BTCC and MINI Challenge season at Donington Park.
