VALVOLINE EXTENDS ITS SPONSORSHIP WITH NAPA

Valvoline is delighted to expand on its technical partnership with NAPA Racing UK team ahead of the 2023 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season.
Last year, in their inaugural season, NAPA Racing UK used Valvoline’s VR1 Racing motor oil to power itself to the BTCC Teams Championship. For the 2023 season the technical partnership will continue with the Valvoline logo appearing on all NAPA Racing UK cars in BTCC.
Valvoline’s historical partnership with NAPA extends beyond the UK. These two global aftermarket brands have been successfully working together for many years in NASCAR, to become one of its most decorated teams in recent years. This partnership was celebrated last year at the final BTCC round at Brands Hatch when, too much acclaim, two cars adorned full NASCAR livery.
The Valvoline brand has a long history in motorsport as high-performance cars place extreme demands on engine lubricants, coolants and racing fluids. Whilst NASCAR has been its spiritual home the brand has partnered many iconic teams and drivers of the past. From 1978 F1 World Champion Mario Andretti in the Lotus 79 to Al Unser Jr winner of the Indianapolis 500, from WRC with Ford and Colin McCrae to BTTC with Paul Radisich in a Ford Mondeo.
