NAPA Racing UK’s Jack France Qualifies for the 2026 World Final, take a read back through his season so far…
With a new tarmac car undergoing construction during the first part of the season, the NAPA Racing UK driver, Jack France, has entered selected BriSCA F1 events so far this season and notably has qualified for the World Final on 26th September.
Blauwhuis Speedway – 26th & 27th April
Our BriSCA F1 made his second international appearance of 2026 in the Netherlands in April, following on competing at the Chili Bowl Nationals in the US in January. Blauwhuis Speedway hosts the Kings Battle every year, with drivers from predominately the Netherlands and UK competing to win the ‘Sword Trophy’. While Jack unfortunately suffered a DNF in the feature race there was also a Grand Final as per usual BriSCA format. The #216 machine was flying in the Final with Jack finishing a fantastic 2nd place just 1.4 seconds behind race winner and fellow Brit, Tom Harris. France recorded his fastest lap on lap 17 out of 20 as he kept pressure on the race leader.
Northampton – 2nd May
Northampton is hosting the prestigious World Championship Final in 2026 and this meeting in May was a World Championship Qualifying round. Jack picked up a 3rd place in the Consolation race but sadly not recording a finish in the Grand Final.
Kings Lynn – 16th May
The team made their way to this popular Norfolk shale track for another World Championship Qualifying round. The blue & yellow machine qualified for the Grand Final with a sold 7th place in the Consolation race. With the Final underway, Jack enjoyed a good race with a number of top drivers finishing a good 6th place. The Grand National race was a good one also with our man finishing 4th for a good points haul of 25.
Scunthorpe – 30th May
This North Lincolnshire venue was a welcome addition to the fixture list in 2025 and the F1s are visiting 4 times in 2026. With Odsal Stadium in Bradford not being available now, we’re pleased to see this track host BriSCA F1. The NAPA car was on form as Jack has quickly got himself dialled into this track, a fantastic 3rd place finish in the heats being a highlight.
Mildenhall – 6th & 7th June
European Championship Weekend
Mildenhall in West Suffolk was the venue for the European Championship with a normal race meeting being run on the Saturday before the feature race on the Sunday. This is a circuit Jack has done well at previously and he demonstrated this on Saturday with a superb 2nd place in his Heat securing a place in the Final. With a large entry with drivers from across Europe, the meeting had 3 heats and 2 consolation races; the Final was going to hard fought! The final got underway with the NAPA machine well in the mix, cars changed places throughout the duration of the race and the chequered flag well Jack finished a well earnt 7th. On Sunday, another blistering performance in his Heat saw the #216 finish another superb 2nd place. With the Jack in good form, it was a real shame for a puncture to put him out of European Final on the 3rd lap but it has been a brilliant performance, showing good pace.
Kings Lynn – 25th & 26th July
A dry and hot Kings Lynn welcomed the BriSCA F1 paddock once again with the crowd treated to some great racing. A challenging weekend for the team saw points being picked up from a 5th place finish on the Saturday Grand National and a strong 3rd place finish in the Heats on Sunday.
Skegness – 1st August
Tarmac Car Debut!
The team proudly unveiled the brand new car at Skegness raceway ahead of the 1st August race meeting. Jack and the team were keen to build something different for tarmac racing and this car encapsulates many new ideas. The superb looking machine drew many admirers and is a result of many long hours in the workshop, “thank you to everyone who helps and supports my racing” commented Jack during the unveiling. Despite the limited testing the car showed great potential, qualifying for the Grand Final at the first time of asking with a good finish in the heats. With settings still being dialled in and this being Jack’s first race of the season on tarmac, the new car was going well. A solid 10th place finish in the Final was a result the team were proud of. With the new tarmac car now launched the team look forward to making progress at more tarmac circuits as well shale as the season progresses!
Scunthorpe – 29th August
World Championship Consi-Semi
With Jack not being able to do as many races earlier in the season, he was yet to secure a place on the grid for the prestigious World Final Championship race on 26th September. The NAPA driver was one of a number of successful drivers on the hunt for a qualifying position, it was going to be a hard fought consolation race. The World Final is highly regarded and the prestige means it ranks highly amongst the drivers. With the race underway, the number 216 machine put in a good race battling through the field. As the chequed flag fell, the NAPA machine finished 3rd a securing qualification for the World Final! “I’m delighted to be in the big race, with only 3 places up for grabs we knew we had to be at the front” commented Jack having just booked his place on the Northampton grid.
