Fuel Filter Fitment Guide – NFF2102

When installing a new fuel filter, it’s important to ensure correct fitment is followed. Keep the following steps in mind when fitting the NAPA Fuel Filter NFF2102.

Part 1

• Step 1: Lubricate the new external O-ring and assemble it onto the cup body
• Step 2: Align the filter element with the cup body (in the direction shown in the figure) and insert it – simply push it forward!
• Step 3: Check the clamping condition of the filter element (move it axially). The arrow direction must be aligned (ensure that the reverse claw is stuck outside the cup groove)
• Step 4: Push and rotate counterclockwise
• Step 5: Use fuel filter wrench, turn cap right to lock position

Part 2

• Step 1: Use a fuel filter wrench to rotate the cup body clockwise
• Step 2: Remove the filter cup body (Situation A & Situation B）
• Situation A: Lift the inverted triangle and rotate the filter element in the opposite direction
• Situation B: Rotate the filter element counterclockwise to remove it
